Testimonials

I just wanted to write you a letter and let you know about the great service that I received at your dealership.  I was the owner of 2004 Road King Custom, but had wanted to trade it in on a new Fatboy.  I started visiting some dealerships and inquiring about a trade for the new Fatboy.  I visited a dealership in Cartersville and spoke with the on-site manager.  They had the motorcycle that I wanted on the floor, but it had the riders essential kit installed which I didn’t want to purchase.  It became a joke during the sale negotiation and they were charging me almost double for the rider’s essential kit, and had the new bike priced well over the MSRP.  They had added in excessive prices for the docking and setup for the new bike and I stood to lose quite a bit of money with the deal they were offering.  After I pointed out the price inequities the manager tried to justify the price.  I left the dealership that day completely dissatisfied with Harley Davidson and without the new bike that I wanted.  The salesman contacted me a couple of days later and apologized for the pricing problems and stated that they had made some corrections, but at this time I was not interested in buying anything from them.

A friend of mine referred me to Atlanta Harley Davidson.  He had a long time friend that worked for you named Nelson.  I met with Nelson and he introduced me to a salesman named Jeff Wilson.  I explained to Jeff the problems that I had with the other dealership and he explained to me that I would not be disappointed with Atlanta Harley.  He took a look at my bike, showed me the book value for it, and made me a trade offer above the trade in value for my bike.  He priced the new bike and gave me what I considered a fair deal.  Everything went very smoothly and now I am the owner of a new Fatboy.  Everyone I was introduced to at your dealership was friendly and very helpful.  Your dealership has earned a new customer due to your courteous and friendly staff.  Thanks again for renewing my loyalty to Harley Davidson.

My bike has been delivered and is now sitting in my parking deck waiting for me to get home.

I just wanted to drop a letter of thanks to you and all at the shop. Very friendly and cool people and absolutely zero pressure with anything there. Nothing like a car buying experience.

Thanks again, and I will dropping in now and then.

Hello,  Gene

Just a note to say  thanks  again  to you and  Jeff Wilson and  all  the   great  personnel at HARLEY-DAVIDSON OF ATLANTA, I  really  am  enjoying  the bike,  it  rides  great!  I cant  say  thanks  enough  for  all   you did in  making  this happen. Your  service   is  number  one   for  sure,    even  my  pals  that came   down there  with me   commented  on how   nice   every one  was  there, i felt   like i was   at   grand mams   house for  sunday  dinner. I have  told    many  of my  riding friends if they need  a  bike  or  any thing   be sure  to see  you  first ,   there are    probably  6    dealerships  with in 125 miles  from  where I live   but none  can  come close  to  yours.

Thanks  again, Jimmy  Turbeville

Gene/Prince:  Thnx for your help in closing the deal.

I have a 2001 Wide Glide that has about 35,000 miles
and the 2004 Road King Classic I traded to you had
over 52,000 miles.  By this you can readily and correctly
assume I ride more than most and have ridden a variety
of bikes over the years.

I have owned other Harley’’s but I have to brag on the 2008
Street Glide you just delivered. It is without a doubt the best
riding, most comfortable and best handling motorcycle I have
owned to date.

Leaving your store I felt instantly as if I had been riding this
bike for thousands of miles.  The low speed handling is superb
and taking the curve on the back road at speed while returning
to Thornton Road  was suprisingly smooth without one ounce of
counter steer.  I’’m already scraping paint or chrome from somewhere.
Wow!

I can’’t wait to get it broken it so I can really ride it.  Only put about
60 miles on it today running errands around town but I am already
looking forward to many more adventures aboard my Glide.

Depending on the weather I should see you in a week or two for
my 1000 mile service.  Hopefully the temperature will get somewhere
north of the 38 degree high we had today.

Thanks to you both,
Walt Lumpkin

Subject: Testimonial to pass on and use

Harley Davidson of Atlanta,

I would like to give you my testimonial concerning your store along with two other Harley dealers in the Atlanta area.

A little over a year ago I visited Harley Davidson at Conyers Georgia. At that time I owned a VStar 1100 Yamaha and was interested in owning a Harley. I had my wife along as we sit in the General Sales Managers office while he gave me a lecture on metric bikes, how he would never own one and it was basically UN-American since his relatives fought in the earlier wars. The wife and I excused our selves and left. I was basically talked down to because the Yamaha was the only bike I could afford at the time and they didn’’t even take the time to assist me on what I could and couldn’’t afford.

A couple of months ago I stopped in at Harley Davidson of Clayton County. I was greeted very politely and was now looking to trade a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 classic. The salesperson spoke with me about buying a Harley out right and keeping my bike. I finally had the sales manager to tell me they would like to sell me a new Harley and I needed to sell my Kawasaki bike by myself because they could do nothing with it. So I thanked them and went on my way. Well strike 2.

During the week of October 22nd 2007 I was surfing the web sites dreaming again of owning a Harley. I came across a 2006 Road King on the Harley Davidson of Atlanta web site. I fell in love with the bike so I got up the nerve and faxed in a credit report. A short time later I was called by Jeff Wilson. He said " I have some great news for you, Harley has approved your credit". I told Jeff that was great but I had a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan that I needed to trade in because I didn’’t want 2 bikes. Jeff ask me when I could stop in an see him. So I set an appointment for Saturday the 27th. The wife and I rode our "metric bikes" over Saturday morning and I started my visit with Jeff. After looking over the Road King and Jeff looking at my Kawasaki he ask for a few minutes for him to work on the numbers. Not only did he take the time to even talk with me, but he showed me two options. To buy the bike out right and the surprise of what they would give me in trade for mine. Well I was sold and I now own a 2006 Road King after trading mine in. It was a blessing to work with Jeff because he took the time that the other two dealers would not. But that is not the end of the story. Before the day was over, my wife traded in her Suzuki for a 2008 Dyna wide glide anniversary model. So yes, we are now a two Harley family all because of someone who took the time to work with us both.

Many thanks to Jeff Wilson and Harley Davidson of Atlanta. You have a customer , excuse me. Two customers for life.
