Registering for the Class



The Harley-Davidson Rider’s Edge Course will take you through both written and riding instruction. The Rider’s Edge course is held on a closed range under controlled conditions. Our instructors are first-class and certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and Harley-Davidson to guide you through the course safely to graduation.

By the end of the class, as long as you've passed both the written and ridden tests, you'll have your card showing you're now a motorcycle rider! Just take that down to the DMV and they'll put it on your license - you won't need to test again!

Training Facility:
Our training facility is located at our Lithia Springs, GA headquarters just west of downtown Atlanta, GA. We are approximately 15-20 minutes from downtown Atlanta and 15-20 minutes from Douglasville, GA. Our address is:

We want you to be protected and comfortable!
That's why you'll need the right gear to participate in the
New Rider Course:

  • DOT Approved Helmet is a must! (If you don't have one just yet that's ok- we have full face DOT Helmets you can borrow.)
  • Eyewear! We want you to protect those baby blues - or greens or browns. If your helmet doesn't have a face shield then you'll need Riding Goggles, Sunglasses or Clear Glasses.
  • Long Sleeve Jacket or Sturdy Shirt.
  • Gloves - full fingered.
  • Pants - either Jeans, Chaps or Leather Pants.
  • Boots - over-the-ankle with a sturdy heel.

Whether you take the Weekday Class OR the Weekend Classes,
the cost is $300.00

Weekday:  Monday 9am-6pm, Tuesday 9am-6pm, Wednesday 9am-6pm       
Weekend: Thursday 5:30pm-9pm, Friday 5:30pm-9pm, Saturday 8am-6pm, Sunday 8am-6pm
